The Caprices Festival features four days and four continuous nights of a diverse music program, DJs, comedy shows and a variety of other performance events held at the famous Crans Montana ski resort.
The activities and entertainment take place throughout Wallis resort elevating the festival to the ranks of European cultural events not to be missed. Entertainments are during the day on the slopes and in the village, most of concerts are in the evening, held at four main venues of Chapiteau, l'Alternative, Artic Cafe and Swatch get Hot.
Unlike traditional summer music festivals, Caprices offers a unique musical program amidst a white landscape in the heart of winter.
In some respects the festival, now in its sixth year, hopes to reclaim for the resort of Crans some of the glamorous reputation it once held while contributing to a large-scale renovation effort to make the resort more modern and youthful.
Following the usual structure of large music festivals, its divided into two distinct but complementory panels : the festival IN (paying and welcoming international stars) and the festival OFF (free, and more informal) www.caprices.ch
